Karl Erik Ottendahl has been making pipes since the late 60's. He was very famous in Germany and Denmark. Many of the designs will look familiar to you, since he has been designing many of the most popular Stanwell pipes. The Karl Erik pipes came to the US originally in the 70's and were available for purchase until 1987 when he backed out of the US market. Then - after a 13-year break - they were reintroduced and became front-runners in the affordable Danish pipe market. All pipes by Karl Erik are true master pieces.
